FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The following list contains some of the questions that are frequently asked by our customers.
If you have a question that has not been answered here, please call our 24/7 service line at (604) 971 5658 and our veteran team will return an answer.
When Should I Seek Your Restoration Services?
There are a number of things that can require restoration work, including fires, smoke damage, and water damage from any source. If damage occurs, act immediately by calling our service center at 604-971-5658. We will work directly with your insurance company. A delay may increase the risk of secondary damage, permanent property destruction, and the potential for microbial and mould growth. This could incur additional costs that may not be covered under your insurance claim.
What Are Your Consultation Fees? What Qualifies for Your Free Consultation?
Our free consultation applies to restoration damage that is less than 48 hours old. It includes a thorough on-site inspection utilizing the latest moisture detection equipment. A detailed scope and estimate with sketches and photo documentation of the damages will be provided. For all other consultations, please contact us to discuss applicable fees.
What Does Your Free Consultation Involve? Will You Provide a Quote?
Once the damage to your property has been contained by our emergency dispatch team, we will send one of our project managers to your location to create a damage inspection report. Once this information has been collected, we will give you a selection of pricing options depending on the level of restoration you require.
What Happens With Emergency First Response?
Emergency clean-up may require a number of services, including but not limited to: water extraction, decontamination, and/or the removal of wet and damaged building materials. In addition, personal property and contents affected may also require moving, cleaning and/or disposal. The entire process will be completed with care and attention to detail.
What Happens After the First Response?
The goal of the first response is to mitigate, stabilize and bring the property to a clean, sanitary and dry state. Once this goal has been achieved, a detailed written estimate and scope of repair will be provided to you and your insurance adjuster for final approval. Only once this has been approved can the restoration work commence. We will work with your insurance providers to approve repairs costs associated with the restoration process, allowing us to get the property restored to its original state
Who Is in Charge of My Restoration?
When it comes to your restoration work, the last thing you want to think about is micromanaging the restoration process. An organized and accessible project manager is assigned and available, and they can address questions and concerns you may have about the restoration process.
What Can I Do to Help the Process Along?
Every effort will be made to restore your property as quickly as possible. There are a number of things that you can do to help expedite the process of restoration, including providing keys and/or easy access, making yourself readily accessible to choose new flooring and paint colors, etc. Depending on the nature of the emergency and subsequent restoration work, special-order items may take some time to locate. In addition, if you plan to upgrade your property while restoration work is still taking place, please inform us as we can work to help speed up this process. Please communicate any concerns or questions you may have regarding the restoration process to your project manager.
